She honed those skills when she started and managed her law firm, when she developed and launched a mediation service and training business, when she assisted clients with business start-ups, and when she served as the campaign manager for a county-wide political candidate. In recent years, she has demonstrated those skills while working as part of the leadership team for the development of a data privacy platform for laws, regulations, and cases involving data privacy and security issues.

Karen’s record for achieving positive outcomes has been proven throughout her professional career. As an attorney, she used analytical, problem solving, and communication skills to convey complex information to judges and juries in order to obtain positive outcomes for clients. As the Managing Attorney for a newly formed Child Support Collection office, she was able to collect over $1M in child support in the office’s first year in operation. As a project manager for an eDiscovery company, she was able to complete numerous projects on time, on budget, with high quality results. In her recent contract position developing a data privacy platform tool, she was able to develop the end-to-end process for the litigation enforcement module, and to work with technical programmers to launch the module.
